As the winter holidays are approaching promising some rest, many of my friends have a lot to do at work or in schools. Everyone feels pressure, and quite often people become aggressive and closed to one another. I challenge you all to be a support to one another. In the next week just consider the words you say and things you do in terms of how that effects others.
Let’s see what The Bible has to say:
“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
Let’s see what The Bible has to say:
“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace” (1 Peter 4:8-10)
“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear” (Ephesians 4:29)
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:24-25)
So for this week pray that God give you more love to your neighbor.
Think about what you say and do.
Notice when other are struggling and support them
Spend some time with someone who needs your support
When you ask “how are you doing?” mean it and be ready to show support
Try it. Try to live out the Word of God. Share this challenge with your friends, and please tell me how did it go cause I will have more for you in a week or two.
